I can't say enough good things about Bikram yoga, but the breathing exercises have been the most beneficial for
me....as a teacher, it is amazing, I haven't had a cold in 2 years....I believe, it is
due to attending Bikram yoga 3 times a week. It has also diminished allergies that would kick up in the
Spring and Fall. I'm sure different people will discover various positive outcomes from the yoga experience, but for me it has been improved health.

I went to bikram for a transformation...and got one! Not what I had expected, but actually far more beneficial.
When I started my only goal was to jump start my metabolism. A constant goal for many. However, the actual
results to my physical well being were far superior than just weight loss. I had injuries from my youth - bum
knee, shoulder pain and was also starting to experience some old age arthritis issues. My doctors had recommended physical therapy
many times over the years and I was also using massage on a regular basis, as well as over the
counter meds to alleviate the pain and discomfort. Well ...within a few months of Bikram...I realized that my knee,
shoulder and hands just weren't bothering me? These have been decade long issues and I was wondering where the
pain had gone? At first I thought it was a fluke, but 2 years later I'm pretty confident its the Bikram yoga.

I have been going to Bikram Yoga for the past 8 months and it mainly helps me with relieving stress. I
feel as if I literally can wring out my anxiety when I leave the room. I feel as though I
have a better handle on life's daily stresses. I look forward to clearing my mind of all worries and
unwanted thoughts while I am concertrating on just ME for the 90 minute yoga session. The other benefits I have
experienced are more flexibility, toning and weight loss. I truly believe it is the most beneficial workout/meditation I have
ever encountered. Bikram refreshes my soul and replenishes my energy every single time I attend!

We humans have a physical body and a Spiritual body. The yoga is a discipline that nourishes and strengthens both. I
was born with extremely tight tendons and hence very poor flexibility. I took up sports late in life and as
soon as I was in my 30's I started to get hurt very easily to the point I tore
a few tendons playing tennis and had to quit that sport and quit running as well. Bikram yoga has helped
me build inner core strength and improve flexibility. The heat helps me warm up quicker and the breathing gets me
into a zone that calms me down for hours. I can tell I have circulating endorphins for hours after a
class. No other discipline has done that for me. I recomment it highly. Done properly it will not only build
strength but also boost immunity and reduce stress.
